Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage and verify quantities and costs for projects, from initial estimation through final account. The role emphasizes minimizing project cost while maintaining required standards and quality.

Responsibilities include field surveys, data collection, coordination with engineering and construction teams, and adherence to SHE procedures and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Min. 1 year experience as a Quantity Surveyor or related with commercial / project cost controller / cost planner.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials take off.
• Comparison Budget Quantity vs. Actual.
• May be required to work flexible hours to meet project requirements.
• Willing to be placed in all projects.
• Good communication, negotiation, and QS breakdown structure.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage.

• Collect accurate daily survey data and download into the computer to ensure data are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman.
• Coordinate and liaise with Engineering and Construction Team to ensure construction designs are properly implemented in the field.
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility including SHE Management System to ensure effectiveness and ISO standards compliance.
• Commit to Target Zero LTI and ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP requirements.

Manage and ensure all quantity and measurement in accordance with the existing Contract, starting from the initial calculation to the final figure. Seek to minimize the cost of a project and increase the value of money, while still achieving the required standards and qualities.

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 5.
