Job summary

PT Metro Mitra Sarana is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs from tendering to completion, ensuring budget adherence and quality standards. You will prepare BOQ, estimate costs, and review drawings.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of QS experience in construction, strong Excel skills, familiarity with AutoCAD or MS Project, and SKA/SKK certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and tendering processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings are an advantage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other quantity surveying software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Possession of an SKA/SKK certification as a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs throughout the entire construction process, from tendering to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the required quality standards.
• Prepare BOQ and conduct cost estimation and quantity take-offs.
• Read and interpret construction drawings (Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings).
• Manage construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Participate in tendering processes.
