Job summary

ParagonCorp seeks a dedicated Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to support on-site cost control in Tangerang. You will validate quantity claims, monitor variations, and prepare price comparisons to aid tender evaluations.

The role requires a D3/BSc in Civil Engineering (MK specialization), 1 year QS experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office, with strong communication and teamwork skills and high integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma in Civil Engineering (MK specialization preferred).
• 1 year of QS experience in construction projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office.
• Ability to read drawings, BBS and project schedules.
• Strong cost monitoring and quantity validation skills.

Job description

• Support tender evaluation by preparing price comparisons and cost breakdowns.
• Monitor and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and provide financial progress reports to the MK Lead.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, preferably with a Construction Management (MK) specialization.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction projects, preferably as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, Bar Bending Schedules, and project schedules (S-Curve).
• Good understanding of RAB preparation, project timelines, and cost monitoring and control.
• Strong ability to calculate and validate material and work quantities accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of responsibility and integrity.
• Willing and interested to work on-site/in the field.
