Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the QMS, CI Laboratory and supplier/material quality. You will drive documentation, audits and CAPA with direct accountability.

You'll lead the CI Lab activities, maintain data integrity and support NPI testing while collaborating across manufacturing excellence to ensure product quality across new and existing materials. Based in Batam or willing to relocate within Indonesia, you will work with global teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related science.
• 4–6 years in manufacturing quality with QMS work; tobacco background optional.
• Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
• Laboratory management or supervision experience.
• NPI or new material qualification experience is a plus.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and professional English for technical documentation.
• Based in Batam or willing to relocate within Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Own CI Laboratory: test schedule, shift coverage and throughput.
• Maintain calibration status, method control and reagent management.
• Validate results and elevate out-of-specification results.
• Maintain laboratory data integrity and reporting.
• Plan and run internal audits and track CAPA to closure.
• Coordinate external audits with customers and brand-owners.
• Provide quality engineering input to trials, changes and improvements.
