Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to drive safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction across an assigned facility area. You will guide a customer-focused team, align with management, and implement process improvements that raise efficiency and reduce waste.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing/engineering with supervisory experience, plus Lean/Six Sigma and ISO familiarity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
10+ years of manufacturing and engineering experience with supervisory or lead roles preferred.
Certified Quality Engineer or related certifications are preferred.
Strong math, analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and ability to advise clients and build relationships.
Lean, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for Safety, Quality, Service, Productivity and Cost Reduction objectives within an area of the facility.
Lead a customer-focused team and meet internal and external customer needs with guidance from management.
Develop and implement operations improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, inventory and services.
Monitor and adjust staffing, schedules and workflows to maximize capacity and labor efficiency.
Maintain quality control processes and conduct frequent audits.
Lead 5S, safety meetings and daily huddles, promoting a safety-conscious environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve manufacturing processes.
