Job summary

Flex is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager based in Batam to lead the Quality Management System across production, supplier, customer, and internal quality domains. You will interface with customers on technical issues, drive RCCA, manage audits, and advance quality improvements.

The role emphasizes Kaizen, Six Sigma, digitalization, and ISO/QMS governance to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years in quality systems development and maintenance.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality analysis tools and Six Sigma.
• Good knowledge of Digitalization in quality management.
• Familiarity with industrial standards and quality management systems.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• People management experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS).
• Interface with customers on technical and quality issues; manage audits.
• Lead RCCA investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with departments to review programs and budgets.
• Oversee production, supplier, customer quality and internal quality processes.
• Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma, digitalization).
• Prepare and review quality-related procedures, training and document control.

If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

The Quality Manager will be based in Batam. In charge of Customer Interface and resolve quality issue, Lead project quality team to tackle the complaint.

Responsibilities:

• Researches, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team.
• Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities.
• Contributes with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals.
• Develops initial and subsequent modifications of product assurance program to delineate areas of control, personnel requirements and operational procedures within program.
• Evaluates contents of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top management personnel preparatory to formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program.
• Conducts management meetings with product assurance program department heads to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish controls and procedures for attaining goals.

• In charge of managing customer audits and regulatory/compliance agency audits.
• Quality Feedback by Conferring with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured products on market to rectify problems.
• Quality and Yield improvement by Kaizen, Six Sigma, Advanced quality tools and Digitalization.
• ISO Quality Management System Training and document control and support Internal quality system audit
• Participate in Quality System planning, development, maintaining and improvement.
• Promote quality awareness within Org

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining quality systems or related area.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Quality Analysis Tools, Six Sigma
• Good knowledge of Digitalization Quality management mindset and experience
• Good knowledge on Industrial Standard is a plus.
• Good understanding of quality management systems.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Have people management experience been in similar position.
• Good English communication in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
