Job summary

Alfa Valves Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control professional to ensure industrial valve products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

You will perform dimensional, visual inspections and pressure tests, review results, and coordinate corrective actions with Production and Engineering to comply with API 6D and ASME B16.34.

Strong documentation skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of valve types and inspection methods.
• Familiarity with API 6D and ASME B16.34.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

Alfa Valves Indonesia is looking for a detail-oriented and qualified Quality Control professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that industrial valve products meet established quality standards, technical specifications, and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

Perform quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards.

Conduct product inspections, including dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and pressure testing.

Ensure industrial valve products comply with applicable technical specifications and industry standards.

Review inspection results, identify non-conformities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor product quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and related documentation.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other relevant departments to resolve quality-related issues.

Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, including API 6D and ASME B16.34.

About you

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Understand various industrial valve types, including Gate, Ball, Check, and Butterfly valves, and their applications.

Familiarity with industry standards such as API 6D and ASME B16.34.

Knowledge of inspection methods, including dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and pressure testing.

Understanding of quality control processes and inspection criteria.

Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

Detail-oriented, analytical, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Previous experience in the valve manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
