Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior API tester for the Banking domain. The role focuses on defining testing strategies, crafting API and integration test scenarios, and validating REST, GraphQL, and microservices against third-party integrations.

You will review specifications, manage backend validation, lead defect triage, and build API automation suites while coordinating with development, architecture, and external vendors to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years testing experience in Banking Domain.
• Experience in managing team from various location.
• Strong SQL and database validation skills.
• Experience with API Automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ, ESB, or Event-Driven Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define API and Integration testing approach and strategy.
• Design and execute API, contract, and integration test scenarios.
• Validate REST, GraphQL, Microservices, and third-party integrations.
• Review API specifications and identify test coverage gaps.
• Manage backend, database, and middleware validation activities.
• Lead defect triage and integration issue resolution.
• Build and maintain API automation suites.

Must Have - API Rest & GraphQL

• 6-8 years testing experience in Banking Domain.
