Job summary

PT Artha Infotama Group (Artha IT Group) is seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our development team in Jakarta. You will design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

You will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, create test plans, run tests, log defects, and integrate test suites into CI/CD. A strong SQL background and experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon are essential.

Qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and stability of our enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.

Test Planning & Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.

Defect Tracking: Identify, log, document, and track bugs thoroughly using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.

Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to resolve software bugs and optimize system performance.

Database Verification: Perform data validation and backend testing by writing complex SQL queries.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar software testing role.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in automation tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium WebDriver, or Playwright.

Solid understanding of RESTful API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts (SQL Server / MySQL).

Methodology: Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
