Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar QA role within the software development or IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional testing, system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, with the ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium or similar platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle defects and inconsistencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about software behaviour and user scenarios.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance best practices.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and testing strategies across multiple software applications and systems
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects and inconsistencies in functionality, performance and user experience
• Document and report defects using appropriate tools and systems, providing clear descriptions and steps for reproduction
• Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand requirements, review specifications and verify that issues are resolved appropriately
• Execute regression testing to ensure that fixes and updates do not introduce new issues or degrade existing functionality
• Conduct performance and load testing to validate system stability and responsiveness under various conditions
• Participate in quality assurance meetings and provide regular status updates on testing progress, defect trends and quality metrics
• Maintain detailed records of test results and create comprehensive quality assurance reports for stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to testing methodologies and tools

What we're looking for
