Job summary

PepsiCo Indonesia in Cikarang seeks a QC Technician to perform shopfloor inspection and implement Online QC. You will collect samples, conduct lab tests and verify records to finalize before release of FG, RM and PM.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and maintained across the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemical Analyst or related major.
• Minimum 1 year experience in QC department in manufacturing or food industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• High level of safety awareness and responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC inspection by collecting online samples and lab inspection for quality parameters.
• Test samples according to PepsiCo standard methods in a timely manner.
• Verify and pass production records for critical quality monitoring.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure calibration and readiness.
• Prepare chemicals for the laboratory and production station lab.
• Handle lab waste safely and responsibly.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Fill in for FS technician when necessary.
• Support trials and commissioning.
• Take on additional tasks as needed by the line manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the QC inspection by collecting samples online and conduct lab inspection for all related Quality parameters
• Conduct testing as per PepsiCo standard method on timely manner.
• Ensure all production records for critical quality monitoring is verified and passed.
• Ensure lab equipment and all apparatus are in good condition, calibrated, and ready to use at all times.
• Responsible for preparing chemical for the use of laboratory and also production station lab.
• Responsible for ensuring waste management for lab waste is handled accordingly and safely
• Responsible for following all Safety protocol
• Responsible to fills in for FS technician when necessary
• Supporting trial and comissioning
• Willing to conduct any other tasks which may need support from line manager
