Job summary

PT. EXA Mitra Solusi mencari kandidat QC laboratorium yang berpengalaman untuk memegang kendali harian laboratorium kualitas, termasuk analisis rutin dan dokumentasi hasil. Posisi ini menuntut keahlian GC, pemrosesan sampel, dan interpretasi data dengan standar ISO/IEC 17025.

Anda akan bekerja dengan instrumen Shimadzu GC-FID/GC-MS, memeriksa kesesuaian sistem, serta menyusun COA/SDS. Kandidat perlu memahami bahasa Inggris teknis dan memiliki etika integritas tinggi dalam pelaporan.

Qualifications

• D3/S1 in Chemistry or related field, or SMK-SMAK with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in analytical/quality control lab.
• Experience operating GC is essential; GC-MS preferred.
• Able to read, understand English ISO methods and customer specs.
• Proficient in Excel and maintaining accurate records.
• Demonstrated integrity in reporting results, including unfavourable ones.
• Methodical, organised, and able to work independently.
• Experience with essential oils, aroma chemicals, food or agro- testing.
• Hands-on Shimadzu instruments and LabSolutions software.
• Experience developing or transferring GC methods.
• Exposure to ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environment.
• Experience preparing Certificates of Analysis and Safety Data Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Take full day-to-day ownership of the quality control laboratory - testing, instrumentation, documentation and organisation.
• Perform routine analysis of patchouli oil, clove oil and clove-derived aroma chemicals: acid value, specific gravity, optical rotation, refractive index and colour.
• Operate Shimadzu GC-FID and GC-MS: sample preparation, injection, peak integration, library searching and interpretation of results.
• Determine patchouli alcohol content, eugenol content and purity of derivatives per applicable standard.
• Screen incoming and outgoing material for adulteration and unexpected components using GC-MS.
• Verify system suitability before releasing any analytical result.
• Investigate out-of-specification and anomalous results, document the investigation, and elevate to Technical Manager.

Job Description
