Job summary

PT Aulia Cosmetic Indonesia is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee all QA/QC processes in our cosmetics production. You will lead a team, manage supplier material specs, and drive quality improvements across production lines, ensuring compliance with ISO 22716 and HALAL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacist or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience as QC Manager in cosmetics.
• Understanding of CPKB, CPPKRTB, ISO 22716, HALAL is essential.
• Demonstrable leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Good communication in English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee product development procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Set requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitor compliance.
• Develop strategies to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing to maintain quality.
• Coordinate with production to implement quality standards across the process.
• Ensure measuring tools and inspection equipment are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Handle quality issues with root cause investigations and CAPA implementation.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff; provide guidance.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with ISO 22716 and HALAL requirements.
• Prepare periodic quality performance reports and provide management with improvement recommendations.
• Maintain quality records in line with regulatory standards.

Job description

Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.

Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.

Develop strategies and quality improvement initiatives to reduce defect rates and enhance production efficiency.

Collaborate with other departments such as Production, Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing to maintain product quality.

Coordinate with the production team to implement quality standards at every stage of the production process.

Ensure all measuring tools and inspection equipment are calibrated and functioning properly.

Handle and resolve quality issues, including root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.

Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards such as ISO 22716, CPKB, CPPKRTB and HALAL.

Prepare periodic quality performance reports and provide recommendations for improvements to management.

Ensure documentation and quality records are accurately maintained in compliance with regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENT :

Minimum education of Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacist or Chemical Engineering.

Have job experience in Cosmetic Industry as QC Manager at least 5 years.

Understanding in CPKB, CPPKRTB, ISO 22716, HALAL is a must.

Able to adapt to the manufacturing work environment.

Demonstrable leadership, communication skills and managing team

Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills.

Ability to identify skill gaps within team and formulate a training and development plan

Good communication skill in English both oral or written.

Willing to work in Tangerang, Kosambi.
