Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Megaluh division seeks a dedicated quality control leader to oversee QC procedures and ensure product safety. The role requires implementing standards across raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods with regular audits and CCP monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a background in food technology or related fields, at least 3 years in QC/QA, and strong data analysis and leadership skills. Based in Megaluh, travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food processing or animal feed industry.
• Strong understanding of food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Proven ability to implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Willingness to be based in Megaluh.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for RPU Megaluh operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and implement corrective actions for deviations.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
• Train and supervise QC staff, ensuring adherence to quality protocols and best practices.
• Prepare and analyze quality data, generating reports on performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to optimize quality processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP), and internal policies.
• Manage and calibrate quality control equipment and instruments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
