Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a QC In-Process Specialist to monitor production and ensure adherence to approved formulations at its Lamongan facility. You will perform in-process quality inspections from grinding to bagging, maintain daily quality reports, and support corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have a D3/S1 in Food Technology or related fields, at least 1 year in QC/QA within manufacturing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willing to be placed in Lamongan, East Java.

Job description

• 2. Conduct in-process quality inspections from grinding to bagging-off stages and determine the production status (Approved, Quarantine, or Rejected).
• 3. Prepare and maintain daily reports on in-process quality, bagging activities, and corrective actions during operations.
• 4. Report quality testing results, follow up on quarantined products, and support internal audits related to production processes.
• 5. Maintain equipment and the work environment while implementing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives within the QC In-Process function.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Food Technology, Fisheries, Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production Quality, or Laboratory functions within the manufacturing, feed, food, or related industries.
• Good understanding of production processes, in-process quality control, quality testing methods, and product quality standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, committed to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and 5S practices, and willing to be placed in Lamongan, East Java.

• 1. Memantau proses produksi untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan formula yang telah ditetapkan serta melakukan pengecekan acak pada sistem kontrol.
• 2. Melakukan inspeksi kualitas selama proses produksi mulai dari tahap grinding hingga bagging-off serta menentukan status produk (OK, Karantina, atau Reject).
• 3. Menyusun dan memelihara laporan harian terkait kualitas proses, aktivitas bagging, serta tindakan korektif selama operasional.
• 4. Melaporkan hasil pengujian kualitas, menindaklanjuti produk karantina, dan mendukung pelaksanaan audit internal terkait proses produksi.
• 5. Memelihara peralatan dan lingkungan kerja serta menerapkan program K3, 5S, dan inisiatif perbaikan berkelanjutan (continuous improvement) di area QC In Process.
