Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia in East Java invites applications for a QC Inspector to join our on-site quality control team. You will perform in-process inspections, conduct tests, monitor CCPs, and document findings to ensure product integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a D3 in a related field, has 1–3 years' experience in food or feed QC, and demonstrates GMP and food safety knowledge, strong attention to detail, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in related field required.
• 1–3 years' experience as QC Inspector in food/feed industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety standards.
• Proficient in physical, chemical, and sensory testing.
• Able to read and interpret technical specs and QC documents.

PT Japfa Food Indonesia (Wonoayu) Job Responsibilities**

• Perform regular in-process inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and production lines according to established quality control procedures and sampling plans.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests on samples to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and operational parameters during production to ensure process stability and product integrity.
• Identify and document non-conforming products or processes, initiate corrective actions, and follow up on their implementation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality control activities.
• Assist in the investigation of quality deviations, customer complaints, and production issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and tools, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Job Qualifications**

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) as a QC Inspector, preferably in a food processing or feed manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Proficiency in conducting various physical, chemical, and sensory tests.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and quality control documents.
• Detail-oriented with excellent observation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
