Job summary

PT Marcopolo Shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to join our shipbuilding and repair teams. You will perform QA/QC inspections, welding inspections, and ensure adherence to quality standards across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering, 1–2 years QA/QC experience in a shipyard, and a Welding Inspector certification. Strong communication in English and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of QA/QC experience in a shipyard.
• WI certification (Welding Inspector).
• Proficient with MS Office and good English communication.

• Conduct QA/QC inspections for shipbuilding and ship repair activities.
• Perform welding inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Coordinate with project and production teams to resolve quality issues.

Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and able to work effectively in a team.
