Job summary

Nusantics is seeking an experienced QA professional to strengthen manual testing for web applications. The role focuses on designing robust test cases, executing regression suites, and ensuring data integrity across products.

You will contribute to lab-oriented domain testing while collaborating with product and engineering teams in Jakarta. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of QA experience, strong test design skills, and familiarity with Playwright, Postman, Jira, and Notion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional QA experience in web applications.
• Strong manual testing fundamentals, including test case design, test plan structure, and regression suite maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to identify edge cases through structured analysis rather than ad hoc clicking.
• Familiarity with Playwright, or demonstrated willingness and capacity to learn it, supported by prior exposure to any automation framework or scripting language.
• Working knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with data integrity testing.
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion).

Responsibilities

• Design test cases that cover laboratory requirements, including sample handling logic, result validation rules, measurement thresholds, and domain specific edge cases where incorrect output carries consequences beyond user inconvenience.
• Execute manual testing across commercial facing products as the primary priority, and internal dashboards as the secondary priority.
• Conduct functional testing of complex business logic and domain-specific features. Own regression testing cycles, maintaining and executing regression checklists ahead of each release to confirm existing functionality remains intact.
• Perform exploratory testing to surface edge cases and defects not captured by scripted test cases.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps, environment details, and expected versus actual behaviour, and follow through with developers until resolution.
• Maintain the test case library and regression documentation as a shared team asset.
• Assist with stress testing to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Develop test automation capability using Playwright, progressing from scripting individual regression cases toward a maintained suite suitable for future CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with the VP of Digital Product, Engineering Lead, and developers during sprint planning and refinement to clarify acceptance criteria before development begins.
