Job summary

Beca Digital is seeking a proactive QA Engineer with 4+ years of software testing experience to join our growing team. You will champion shift-left practices and build robust test automation around Playwright, API testing, and Azure DevOps in a global delivery environment.

You’ll work on RESTful API validation, test planning, and reporting, while integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience with Playwright, API testing, and Azure DevOps testautomation.
• Experience using Git repositories and managing test environment configurations
• Experience developing,usingandmaintainingtest automation frameworks and planning for automated test maintenance. Ensuring the automations run effectively within CI/CD build and release pipelines
• Hands-on testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Bruno or Postman, Playwright API testing, Swagger, or equivalent frameworks, including validation of requests, responses, authentication, and error handling.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing, test planning and reporting, test design, test case writing and maintenance and manual exploratory testing
• Experience in reporting, investigating,triageand tracking bugs
• AnAgile and open mindset, able to considernew ideasand approaches to complex situations
• Be a quick learner and detail orientated
• A focus on outcomes and a proven problem-solving ability
• Proactive, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Great communicationskills with the ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships across various levels of a business
• In addition, knowledge and experience across the following is not critical, however would be beneficial:
• Using AI to help with test plans and test cases

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Report, investigate, triage, and track bugs.
• Contribute to test planning, design, and manual exploratory testing.
