Job summary

PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in Jakarta. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Playwright, and create automated test cases for new features and regression testing.

Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and POs to ensure quality, document defects in Jira, and drive automation coverage across CI/CD pipelines. Experience in shipping industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in Automation Testing.
• Experience in Shipping Industry.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Playwright API, or REST Assured.
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
• Experience using Git for source code version control.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of test reporting tools such as Allure Report or Playwright HTML Report.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute automated test cases for new features and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
