Job summary

Beca Group in Jakarta, Indonesia, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Digital team. You will drive shift-left testing, build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and API testing, and integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders, test RESTful APIs, manage test environments, and help shape testing frameworks for BEYON, Beacon, and CAPEXinsights. Strong analytical mindset and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience with a foundation in Playwright, API testing and Azure DevOps test automation.
• Experience using source control in Git repositories and managing test environment configurations.
• Experience developing, using and maintaining test automation frameworks and planning for automated test maintenance.
• Ensuring the automations run effectively within CI/CD build and release pipelines.
• Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Bruno or Postman, Playwright API testing, Swagger, or equivalent frameworks, including validation of requests, responses, authentication, and error handling.
• Thorough knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing, test planning and reporting, test design, test case writing and maintenance and manual exploratory testing.
• Experience in reporting, investigating, triage and tracking bugs.
• An Agile and open mindset, able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situations.
• Be a quick learner and detail orientated.
• A focus on outcomes and a proven problem-solving ability.
• Proactive, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Great communication skills with the ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships across various levels of a business
