Qualifications

• Team Leadership experience and people skills.
• 7+ years as a full stack developer with cloud-based projects.
• Enterprise experience with C#, .NET, MVC, Blazor, React, JavaScript, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure to deliver highly available software.
• Collaborates with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and stakeholders to drive innovation.
• Supports technical implementation across the SDLC including planning and feature development.
• Excellent communication to build relationships across the Digital team and timezones.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is beneficial; Python experience is a plus.

Team Lead Software Engineer

Lead and grow a new software engineering team in Jakarta, building scalable digital platforms used across APAC.

Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, supporting delivery while building team capability through guidance and feedback.

Establish a strong team culture in Jakarta, setting clear expectations for collaboration, ownership, and development.

Consistent delivery of high-quality solutions with strong alignment across the wider APAC team.

We are looking for an Team Lead level Software Engineer to play a pivotal part in the future of our growing software development practice and support our internal development team as we focus on automation and scaling our enterprise software.

We invite applicants from a range of backgrounds with the following experience, skills, and attributes:

• Team Leadership experience and people skills
• 7 years+ experience as a full stack developer with cloud-based software projects, web development, systems integration using APIs, distributed systems, software security and database knowledge
• Enterprise experience for C#, .NET, MVC, Blazor, React, JavaScript, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Experience using cloud computing services, specifically Microsoft Azure, to provide software solutions with high availability requirements
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and stakeholders leveraging your experience to drive innovative behaviours
• Support the technical implementation for Beacon and other solutions throughout the software development lifecycle including planning, estimation, feature development, ongoing support, and providing feedback to the product and technical roadmap
• Great communication skills with the ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships across the Digital team including in other countries and timezones
• In addition, knowledge and experience across the following is not critical, however would be beneficial: Agile development background using Scrum or other Agile methodologies
• Experience with other programming languages such as Python
