Qualifications

Responsibilities

• In-Process Quality Audit: Audit production, inspections, testing to verify specs.
• Verify process parameters are followed and documented.
• Ensure operators and inspectors have required qualifications.
• Perform First Article Inspection at start of production orders.
• Release finished products after random inspections and review docs.
• Raise NCRs and CARs for non-conformities; coordinate improvements.
• Prepare daily quality reports and elevate significant concerns.

Job description

To perform quality audits throughout the manufacturing process, inspection, testing, storage, and product release activities to ensure compliance with product specifications, customer requirements, applicable standards, and the Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure products comply with approved specifications and customer requirements.

Ensure production processes are carried out in accordance with current procedures and standards.

Monitor and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations within the workplace.

Support the achievement of departmental quality objectives and company quality initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

In-Process Quality Audit

Conduct audits on production processes, inspections, and testing activities to verify compliance with specifications and requirements.

Ensure production process parameters are properly followed and documented.

Monitor and verify that operators and inspectors possess the required qualifications and competencies.

Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) at the start of production orders.

Verify production process records, inspection results, and testing outcomes conducted by operators and inspectors.

Conduct random inspections of production output and final checks before products are transferred to storage.

Provide quality-related training and guidance to production personnel when required.

Recommend disposition actions for non-conforming products.

Final Release Quality Audit

Conduct random inspections of finished products prior to release and shipment.

Review and verify quality documentation before product release.

Coordinate with production teams when offline inspections are required prior to release.

Ensure product storage procedures are properly implemented in the yard area.

General Duties

Accompany third-party inspectors during inspection activities.

Conduct external inspections and site visits when required.

Prepare daily quality reports and elevate significant quality concerns.

Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and CARs (Corrective Action Requests) and recommend process stoppage when critical or repetitive non-conformities are identified.

Determine product quality status when inspection decisions cannot be resolved by operators, inspectors, supervisors, or production personnel.

Support company programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience & Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) manufacturing processes, particularly API 5CT and API 5L standards.

Understanding of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, inspection, and testing activities in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in process auditing and product quality verification is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, procedures, and quality standards.

Good communication and coordination skills across departments.

Strong understanding of HSE requirements and compliance.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Language Requirements

Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or equivalent office software.

Additional Requirements

Willing to work in manufacturing, inspection, and yard environments.

Able to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party inspectors
