Job summary

PT Citra Tubindo Tbk in Batam seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, supervise and optimize maintenance across Threading, Coupling and PROT lines. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure reliability of equipment, and drive safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing, with OCTG familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Maintenance Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Experience in OCTG industry preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Good understanding of electrical and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise machine repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment modifications in Threading area.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair for equipment breakdowns to support production targets.
• Monitor spare parts availability and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians during maintenance activities.
• Assist in planning major repairs, overhauls and equipment modifications.
• Conduct maintenance training and competency development for the team.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is executed per schedule and checklists.
• Support other areas (Pipe Shop, HT) when required.

Job description

Plan, coordinate, and supervise machine repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment modification activities in the Threading area (Coupling, CTART, and PROT).

Ensure all production equipment and machinery operate effectively and are always ready to support production targets. Lead and supervise troubleshooting and repair activities for all equipment and machine breakdowns.

Monitor and control electrical and mechanical spare parts availability while maintaining cost efficiency.

Provide technical guidance and support to Electrical and Mechanical Technicians during maintenance and repair activities.

Assist in planning major repairs, overhauls, and equipment modification projects.

Conduct technical training and competency development programs for maintenance team members.

Ensure preventive maintenance activities are executed according to schedule and maintenance checklists.

Ensure all machines in the Pipe Shop, Coupling, and Accessories areas are operating properly and efficiently.

Provide maintenance support to other operational areas, including Pipe Shop and Heat Treatment (HT), when required.

Support departmental quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE/K3L) regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

Education

Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) industry is highly preferred.

Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor for mechanical drawing.

Good understanding of electrical and control systems fundamentals.

Familiar with CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.

Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to communicate in English (minimum conversational level).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling maintenance activities for Threading, Coupling, CTART, PROT, or similar OCTG production lines.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement practices.

Possession of relevant HSE/Safety certifications is an advantage.
