Job summary

MAS Holdings, a global apparel tech conglomerate, is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager focusing on Japanese brands, notably Uniqlo or GU. You will lead QA activities, enforce standards, and manage cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity.

This role requires 3 years in an Assistant Manager role or 8 years in a supervisory QA position in garment manufacturing, with experience handling Japanese customers and strong command of Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in an Assistant Manager role or 8 years' experience in a Supervisory role within Quality Assurance in the garment/apparel manufacturing industry.
• Experience handling Japanese brands/customers, especially Uniqlo or GU.
• Strong MS Office, presentation and communication skills; SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams while driving accountability and performance.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to plan work, allocate resources, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with QA objectives.
• Establish, implement, and enforce QA procedures, systems, and policies in line with standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants and subcontractors to assess capabilities and ensure QA coverage.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor in-process quality parameters and machine settings to ensure product integrity.
• Readiness to take decisive actions to safeguard product quality.
