Job summary

Rigspek Perkasa is seeking a senior procurement professional for a leadership role in Batam, Indonesia. The candidate will oversee supplier sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization within the oil & gas sector. NDT experience is highly preferred.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in procurement with supervisory experience, strong English skills, and a proven ability to lead and strategize across procurement processes and logistics coordination.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor Degree in related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement/Purchasing with supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
• Experience in the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) field is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain, and cost optimization.
• Familiar with import-export and logistics coordination.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement activities to optimize cost and value.
• Source and manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
• Oversee procurement processes, compliance, and risk management.
• Coordinate with logistics for import-export and delivery.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to procurement team.
