The role bridges laboratory research and plant-level execution, conducting machine-side application trials and evaluating fiber properties. This position is tailored for hands-on technical experts who excel at data-driven analysis, laboratory research, and on-site implementation without managerial overhead.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Pulp & Paper Technology, Forestry/Wood Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry.
• Strong understanding of fiber properties and pulping/papermaking processes.
• Experience in laboratory pulp/paper testing and machine-side applications.
• Ability to compile structured research reports.
• Physically and mentally fit for plant-level research.

Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and execute technical innovation trials on paper/pulp production machines, focusing on wet-end chemistry, chemical additives, and surface application efficiency.
• Analyze fiber types, morphology, structures, and physical-chemical properties to optimize sheet formation and performance.
• Conduct rigorous testing and analysis on paper physical properties and constituent raw materials.
• Compile, evaluate, and interpret research data to produce comprehensive reports for continuous product and process improvement.
