Job summary

PT Kotaminyak Internusa is seeking a Proposals Engineer to support tendering for electrical and instrumentation projects in the oilfield and industrial sectors. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing technical proposals, and developing system concepts for PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, RTU, and instrumentation.

You will read P&ID, SLD, and datasheets, estimate BOQ/MTO, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliant submissions in Indonesian and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a proposal engineering or similar role within engineering/construction.
• Understanding of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, RTU, Instrumentation and Control System.
• Ability to read P&ID, SLD, wiring diagrams, datasheets and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Master tender documents including RFQ, RKS, datasheets, specifications, drawings, BOQ and scope of work.
• Conduct technical review of tender documents and prepare technical proposals and execution plans.
• Create Compliance Statement and Compliance Matrix against customer requirements.
• Determine technical concepts and solutions according to customer needs.
• Create preliminary system architecture for PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, RTU, Instrumentation and Control System.
• Perform quantity take-off based on drawings and tender documents.

Mastering tender documents, RFQ, RKS, datasheets, specifications, drawings, BOQ and scope of work

Conduct technical review of tender documents

Prepare Technical Proposal, Method Statement, Work Procedure, Project Execution Plan and other technical documents

Create Compliance Statement and Compliance Matrix against customer requirements

Determine technical concepts and solutions according to customer needs

Create preliminary system architecture for PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, RTU, Instrumentation and Control System

Determine technical specifications for equipment and materials

Conduct technical comparison of vendors and brands

Perform quantity take-off based on drawings and tender documents

Requirements:

Minimum D3/S1 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a proposal engineering or similar role within the engineering/construction industry

Understanding of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, RTU, Instrumentation and Control System

Ability to read P&ID, SLD, wiring diagrams, datasheets and technical specifications

Understanding of BOQ/MTO preparation and cost estimation

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to prepare technical proposals in Indonesian and English

Strong communication and coordination skills
