Job summary

KotaMinyak Internusa in Jakarta, Indonesia seeks a PLC/Automation Engineer with a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical/Automation disciplines and at least 3 years of experience in industrial automation projects, preferably oil & gas. Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley/ Rockwell, Schneider Modicon, and Honeywell HC900, plus HMI/SCADA tools such as FactoryTalk View ME/SE and AVEVA System Platform, is required.

English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical/Automation fields.
• 3+ years of PLC/Automation experience in industrial projects.
• Oil & Gas project experience preferred.
• Experience with major PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms and protocols.
• Good command of English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Perform PLC engineering across Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider Modicon, and Honeywell HC900.
• Configure and troubleshoot HMI/SCADA systems (FactoryTalk, AVEVA InTouch, AVEVA System Platform).
• Conduct commissioning, testing, and startup activities; prepare reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation, Electrical, IT, Engineering and Maintenance teams.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree (S1) / Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field .

Minimum 3 years of experience as a PLC / Automation Engineer in industrial automation projects.

( preferable experience in Oil & Gas Project ) .

Experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC , Schneider Electric Modicon PLC , Honeywell HC900 Series .

Experience in HMI / SCADA engineering , FactoryTalk View ME / SE , AVEVA System Platform .

Good understanding of industrial communication protocols: Ethernet/IP , Modbus TCP/IP , Modbus RTU , OPC / OPC UA .

Have Certificate PLC & HMI Training .

Have Class A Driving License .

Team work , Good communication and technical reporting skills .

Good command of English, both written and verbal, is preferred .

Responsibilities :

Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation systems .

Perform PLC engineering using Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation, Schneider Modicon, and Honeywell HC900 Series .

Configure and troubleshoot HMI and SCADA systems, including FactoryTalk, AVEVA InTouch, and AVEVA System Platform .

Perform PLC, HMI, and SCADA commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and start-up activities .

Conduct I/O checking, loop checking, functional testing, interlock testing, and sequence testing .

Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, OPC, and other industrial protocols .

Integrate PLC systems with HMI, SCADA, VFD, MCC, RTU, instrumentation, and field devices .

Perform PLC program modification, system upgrade, migration, and optimization .

Prepare and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA backups, software documentation, I/O lists, control logic, and as-built documentation .

Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site acceptance activities .

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automation systems .

Analyze system faults and provide effective troubleshooting and technical solutions .

Coordinate with Instrumentation, Electrical, IT/Telecommunication, Engineering, and Maintenance teams during project execution .

Prepare technical reports, commissioning reports, troubleshooting reports, and maintenance reports .

Ensure all engineering and site activities comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and HSE requirements .

Provide technical support to customers and end users during operation and maintenance .
