Job summary

Golden Agri Resources seeks a Project Engineer to support the project manager through the full lifecycle, from initiation to closure. You will ensure completion according to procedures, schedules, drawings and contract requirements, working closely with on-site and head-office teams in Jakarta.

The role demands about 5 years in project management within construction and palm oil sectors, with frequent travel (approximately 80%). Placement is in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil or construction project management.
• Ability to coordinate between engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on site in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering documents, technical specs and drawings for the project.

• Assist in planning, execution, monitoring and progress reporting.

Job Description Summary

Project Engineer will work under a project manager and will be involved in the whole project life cycle, ie from initiation to closure of the project. He/she will work together with project manager to ensure the project is completed according to existing procedures, work schedule, drawings and specifications as well as contract requirement

Job Description

• Review all engineering documents, technical specification and drawings issued by the engineering team for the assigned project
• Coordinate with project management team on site and engineering team at head office in resolving any engineering and design related issues
• Coordinate with both internal and external parties to ensure the project is executed and any issues is resolved according to the agreed procedures timelines and work schedule
• Work together with project manager in the project planning execution and monitoring throughout the project duration and provide a routine project progress report to sub division head and division head
• Work together with project manager in identifyng changes in issues risk and opportunity that occur throughout the project, and in providing lessons learnt at the end of the project

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• About 5 years of experience as Project Managerment in Construction Industry and Palm Oil Industry
• Placement in Jakarta, with frequent business trip (80% of the time business trips)
