PT.China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai is seeking a Schedule Developer to lead baseline scheduling for Jakarta projects. You will create master, detailed, and look-ahead schedules, and coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors.

The role includes progress monitoring, updating the S-Curve, and reporting to management. You will support EOT and delay analyses and drive recovery strategies with on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of critical path method and schedule logic.
• Ability to monitor progress and identify schedule risks and recovery options.

Responsabilités

• Develop the project baseline schedule (master, detailed, look-ahead) based on scope and inputs.
• Prepare WBS, activity lists, durations, logic, and critical path.
• Create the project S-Curve (planned progress) and update with actuals.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and subs to build one programme.
• Collect and verify actual progress data on daily/weekly/monthly cadence.
• Update schedule/S-curve to compare planned vs actual progress.

About the role

Schedule Development

Develop the project baseline schedule (master, detailed, and look-ahead schedules) based on contract scope, drawings, method statements, and resource availability.

Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity list, durations, logic links, and critical path.

Prepare the project S-Curve (planned progress) based on weighted activities, cost, or man-hours.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to integrate their inputs into one programme.

Progress Monitoring & Control

Collect and verify actual progress data from site on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Update the schedule and S-Curve to compare planned vs. actual progress and calculate deviation.

Identify critical and near-critical activities, delays, and their root causes.

Propose catch-up/recovery plans and what-if scenarios when progress falls behind.

Monitor resource loading (manpower, equipment, materials) against the schedule.

Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project management, head office, and the client/consultant.

Present schedule status, S-Curve, critical path, and key issues in progress meetings.

Prepare 2-week / 3-week look-ahead schedules for site execution teams.

Contract & Change Support

Assess schedule impact of variation orders, design changes, and delay events.

Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis with supporting records.

Maintain schedule documentation, revision history, and baseline records in line with company procedures.

Others

Perform other planning-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
