The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Project Manager for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team in Indonesia. In this role, you will bring innovative projects to life and ensure their successful execution. You will work collaboratively with diverse teams to define project objectives and develop detailed plans to achieve them. By utilizing your expertise in project management methodologies, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality and safety standards. How you'll make an impact
  • You will lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively and develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
  • You will manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
  • You will monitor and control project financials, including invoicing, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
  • You will ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies, overseeing procurement processes as needed.
  • You will serve as the key point of contact for the customer, resolving project issues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities.
  • You will mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration to enhance team performance.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
  • You hold a degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects including commercial, contractual and team leadership aspects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
