Brief Job Description
TheProject Managerwill report directly to theProject Directorand will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of anearshore reclamation development project.
This role will be primarilysite-based (Bintan, Riau, Indonesia) , overseeing daily project activities, coordinating contractors and consultants, monitoring construction progress, managing project risks, and ensuring successful delivery from construction commencement through completion and handover.
The Project Manager will provide leadership across technical, commercial, contractual, programme, quality, and HSE aspects while ensuring alignment with project objectives and company standards.
Technical Competency Requirement
- Minimum5-7+ years of relevant Project Management experiencein nearshore reclamation, coastal engineering, marine infrastructure, dredging, civil construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing site-based construction projects with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of:
- Nearshore reclamation works
- Dredging and filling operations
- Ground improvement and settlement monitoringCivil infrastructure interfaces
- Experienced in project planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, contract administration, risk management, and quality management.
- Ability to review and manage technical documentation including method statements, construction programmes, drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and contractor submissions.
- Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, environmental compliance, and construction standards.
- Excellent spoken and writtenEnglish communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience reporting to aProject Director / Senior Management Teamis preferred.
