Job summary

SeaOwl Indonesia is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical, Instrument & Automation) to coordinate and deliver mechanical, package and piping engineering activities within project teams.

You will lead MRs, TBE, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and QA/QC to ensure quality and timely project execution. Responsibilities span fabrication, testing, commissioning, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering and Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of Material Requisitions / Technical Requirement for purchase requisition.
• Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) and vendors.
• Follow company procedures as defined in the QA/QC Manual.
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections).
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare and/or coordinate any work procedures that are deemed necessary for manufacturing, handling, assembling, or lifting of the equipment according to client requirement.
• Review and resolve technical queries (TQs), NCRs, and deviations at any stage of the project.
• Ensure proper documentation and data management throughout the project lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare notice at change (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
• Execute any work related to skills and experience for the Project.
