Job summary

Seaowl Group seeks a Project Engineer (Mechanical, Packages & Piping) to coordinate and deliver mechanical, package and piping engineering activities within project teams. The role focuses on technical coordination, procurement support, and ensuring QA/QC compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead bid evaluations, liaise with process, piping, instrument and vendor teams, and support fabrication, testing, and commissioning activities, applying your 5+ years of EPC experience and fluent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC project experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with vendor management and technical bid evaluations.
• Familiar with inspection and testing requirements.
• Experience in FEED, EPC, EPCIC projects.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of Material Requisitions / Technical Requirement for purchase requisition.
• Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, instrument, automation, electrical, procurement, QA/QC) and vendors.
• Follow company procedures as defined in the QA/QC Manual.
• Support fabrication, inspection, and testing activities (FAT, SAT, inspections).
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare and/or coordinate any work procedures for manufacturing, handling, assembling, or lifting of equipment.
• Review and resolve technical queries (TQs), NCRs, and deviations at any stage of the project.
• Ensure proper documentation and data management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare notice at change (NOC) to fabricator via Engineering Manager.
