Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Project Engineer to support the preparation and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, reviewing progress and ensuring documentation complies with company standards. The role involves cost analysis, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with a multi-cultural workforce and international subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 1 year of experience in project engineering in the mineral sector, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Project Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering and design processes; construction methods.
• Ability to multitask across project engineering, scheduling and budgeting.
• Willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate subordinates.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse anomalies, variances or non-compliances in operating costs and propose corrective actions.
• Provide recommendations on operating cost reports based on budget/forecast vs actuals.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast to support objectives.
• Implement and maintain budgeting and costing processes to meet department targets.
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and risk mitigation in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP.
• Target Zero LTI and compliance with SHE management system standards.
