Job summary

PT Indonesia Defence Services seeks a project engineer to support aerospace projects from requirements definition through testing and implementation. This role is based onsite in South Tangerang, Indonesia.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 1–2 years in aerospace, strong English communication, and solid analytical and coordination skills. Join a team delivering engineering solutions and avionics upgrades for national defense projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1–2 years of aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• Good analytical, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working onsite in operational, site-based and project-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Define technical, operational and user requirements and plan project phases including quality control and testing.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal departments to meet objectives and plan, monitor and control the project, including implementation.
• Prepare cost estimation, budget, control reports and technical documentation as required.
• Assist in installation, buy-off, support of projects at customer sites and other technical activities as needed.
• Monitor project progress and prepare reports to ensure the schedule is met.
• Be able to work overtime when required.

Job description

Collaborate in all the different project phases, from defining technical, operational and user requirements, through to planning, quality control and testing & debugging. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal department, to meet objectives and requirements, plan, monitor and control the project, including carrying out the implementation of the project.

Prepare cost estimation, budget, control report and other technical documentation when required

Hands-on and assist in the installation, buy off, supporting of projects internally and at customer sites, and other technical activities when required

Assist in monitoring of projects, prepare reports on project progress and ensure project schedule is being met

Be able to work overtime when needed

About you

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Minimum of 1-2 years of experiences in Aerospace Industry is preferable

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in operational, site-based, and project-driven environments

Willing to work onsite in South Tangerang
