Job summary

PT Indonesia Defence Services is seeking a Project Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in biomedical or related engineering fields to lead project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires English proficiency, travel willingness, and strong organizational skills.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, document key decisions, translate SOPs for project devices, and ensure training and after-sales support meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project engineering, medical devices, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Preferred background in Biomedical Engineering or Electromedical Engineering.
• Experience or familiarity with medical devices/equipment is a plus.
• Good project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Willing to travel or work on-site as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Create project schedules, and timelines and ensure project completion in timely manner.
• Create a budget and maintain project costs based on approval.
• Prepare risk management planning.
• Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders involved in projects.
• Record important decisions made in meetings and implement approved solutions.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for management and users.
• Ensure internal teamwork and be PIC for every assigned project.
• Liaise with external vendors for technical requirements.
• Create and translate the required SOP of project devices.
• Ensure project training is conducted properly until users’ acceptance.
• Responsible for after-sales services with the best quality.
• Other duties assigned by higher management.
