Resindo Group is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support planning, scheduling, progress measurement and project reporting for engineering and delivery works. The role is hands‑on, developing and maintaining schedules with Primavera P6 and providing accurate weekly/monthly progress reports.
The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of experience in project controls, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely status updates and issue identification.
The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, progress measurement and project reporting activities for assigned engineering and project delivery works. The position is a hands‑on project controls role with particular responsibility for developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, collecting and analysing project progress data, developing progress measurement systems, S-curves and other project controls information, and preparing accurate weekly and monthly project progress reports. The role works closely with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Discipline Leads and other project personnel to ensure that project status is accurately measured, analysed and reported, and that potential schedule and progress issues are identified at an early stage.
Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 in coordination with Project Managers, Engineering Managers and Discipline Leads
Develop appropriate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, logic, durations, milestones and project calendars
Establish project baseline schedules following review and approval
Maintain and regularly update project schedules using actual progress information received from project and discipline personnel
Monitor planned versus actual progress, critical and near-critical paths, key milestones, schedule float, activity slippage and forecast completion dates
Develop and maintain project progress measurement systems appropriate to the project scope
Collect and verify progress information from engineering disciplines and other project functions
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports in coordination with the Project Manager
Support the Lead Project Controller and Project Manager with general project controls activities
Work closely with Project Managers and Engineering Managers to obtain accurate project status information
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
Approximately 3–7 years' relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls or progress reporting, preferably within an engineering consultancy, EPC or EPCM environment
Practical experience developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6
Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, WBS development, schedule updating and progress measurement, critical path analysis, S-curve development, progress analysis and weekly and monthly project reporting
Good understanding of engineering project execution and the relationship between engineering deliverables, procurement, construction and project schedules
Strong Microsoft Excel capability, including preparation and analysis of project controls data, tables, charts and S-curves
Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage project controls activities across multiple concurrent projects
