Job summary

PT. Arina Multikarya (3A Group) seeks an experienced IT Specialist to join our head office in Surabaya.

You will provide day-to-day technical support, maintain system and network stability, and safeguard IT infrastructure, including Odoo ERP, HRIS, and workflow tools to enhance business operations. Responsibilities include data collection rules, hardware/software updates, data backups, security protocols, vendor coordination, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support or system administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is preferred.
• Familiar with workflow tools (Jira, Asana, or Monday.com).
• Proficient in Power BI and databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Knowledge of networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, routers/switches).
• Familiar with IT security tools (antivirus, firewall, patching).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to explain issues clearly to non-technical users.

Job Description

The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining system and network stability, and ensuring the security and functionality of company IT infrastructure. This role also involves supporting internal systems such as Odoo ERP, HRIS, and workflow management tools to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Formulate data collection techniques and data sharing rules.
• Evaluate and update hardware, software, and storage needs.
• Assist colleagues with data-related tasks and provide training.
• Monitor data for breaches and maintain data
• Manage local area networks, including IP configuration, routers, switches, and remote access.
• Administer Windows client/server environments and manage user permissions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Odoo ERP and HRIS systems.
• Ensure data backup, recovery processes, and IT security protocols are in place.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for system maintenance and improvement.
• Promote awareness of IT security best practices among employees.

Technical Capabilities

• Develop and enhance Odoo modules, features and workflows.
• Integrate Odoo with external systems or applications using REST APIs and JSON.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL databases according to application requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues within the Odoo system.
• Use Git, GitHub or GitLab for version control and source code management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to system development and configuration.
• Conduct testing of developed features and modules before deployment.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to understand user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science from recognised university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP system preferred.
• Familiar with workflow management tools (Jira, Asana, or Monday.com).
• Proficient in Power BI
• Knowledge of Workspace management, and system backup procedures.
• Good understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, router/switch configuration).
• Familiar with IT security tools (antivirus, firewall, patching).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
