Job summary

Prestasi Junior Gemilang Indonesia is seeking a Program Officer – School based (Coordinator) to lead operational planning and quality control for the Work Readiness program in partner schools. Responsibilities

• Develop operational plans for implementation, including schedules, strategies, and resource requirements.
• Ensure activities are delivered on time and aligned with quality standards.
• Identify operational challenges and provide recommendations to the AM – School-based Program and Head of Program Implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with school leaders, teachers, education authorities, and partners.
• Represent the organization during school visits and external forums.
• Monitor quality and effectiveness of program implementation across target schools.
• Collect, manage, and verify program data from School-based Program Officers.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare implementation reports and contribute to success stories.
• Coordinate with AM – School-based Program and other pillar coordinators.
• Participate in divisional coordination meetings and provide updates on implementation.

Role Overview

The Program Officer – School based Program is responsible for leading the operational planning, coordination, and quality control of work readiness program implementation across all target schools. This position ensures that the implementation of the Work Readiness pillar aligns with the Foundation’s quality standards and provides technical guidance and support to School-based Program Officers.

The incumbent establishes and maintains relationships with schools and relevant education stakeholders, collects and analyzes program implementation data, and provides evidence-based insights and recommendations to the Assistant Manager (AM) – School-based Program and the Head of Program Implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work Readiness Program Implementation
• Develop operational plans for the implementation of the Work Readiness pillar, including schedules, implementation strategies, and resource requirements.
• Ensure all Work Readiness program activities are delivered on time, relevant to program objectives, and in accordance with the Foundation’s quality standards.
• Identify operational challenges in the field and provide recommendations and solutions to the Assistant Manager (AM) – School-based Program and the Head of Program Implementation.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with school leaders, teachers, education authorities, and professional partners relevant to program implementation.
• Represent the organization during school visits and external forums related to the Work Readiness pillar.
• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of Work Readiness program implementation across target schools.
• Collect, manage, and verify program implementation data submitted by School-based Program Officers.
• Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for program improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare implementation reports for the Work Readiness pillar and contribute to the development of program success stories.
• Internal Coordination
• Collaborate with the Assistant Manager (AM) – School-based Program to develop implementation strategies for the Work Readiness pillar.
• Coordinate with other pillar coordinators to ensure integration and consistency across program modules.
• Participate in divisional coordination meetings and provide regular updates on the implementation of the Work Readiness pillar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in in Education, Social Sciences, Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project or program management, preferably within an NGO, non-profit organization, or the education sector.
• Proven experience in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs or projects to ensure successful delivery of objectives and KPIs.
• Experience in youth empowerment, work readiness, workforce development, or education programs is highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with schools, government agencies, industry partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills. Experience with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and knowledge of the Theory of Change (ToC) framework are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and learning methodologies, with the ability to support the technical implementation and delivery of program content in the field.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
