Job summary

Daikin Industries Indonesia seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead and optimize heat exchanger and piping production lines. The role requires at least five years in manufacturing and one year in frontline management, with strong knowledge of production processes and the ability to read technical drawings.

You will drive Kaizen, 6S, and quality initiatives while coordinating with multiple departments to meet targets and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a first-line management position (e.g., Supervisor/Section Leader).
• Strong knowledge of production operations and manufacturing processes.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and quality requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve production processes to achieve targets, efficiency, and quality requirements.
• Manage daily operations of the Heat Exchanger & Piping section.
• Supervise team performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage manpower, resources, expenses, task delegation, and section budget.
• Monitor and improve line, team, and individual KPIs.
• Coordinate with related departments to support operational activities.
• Drive Kaizen, 6S, QC, Safety, Environmental, and stock control activities.
• Ensure compliance with EMS, OHSAS, Quality policies, and ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Review operational procedures and support manpower development, including multi-skilling and internal licenses.
• Act as the person-in-charge during the Manager's absence and handle escalated issues within the section.
