Job summary

PT Japfa Food Indonesia (Wonoayu) seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensure targets, and maintain quality and delivery schedules. You will lead and train staff, promote a safe and productive environment, and liaise with maintenance and QA teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in related fields, at least 3 years of supervisory experience in food production, and knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and K3 safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Animal Husbandry or related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in food or feed industries.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and safety regulations (K3) and ability to lead teams.
• Proven leadership with excellent communication and team management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving capability and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with production management systems/ERP (e.g., SAP).
• Willingness to work in shifts at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met.
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a safe, collaborative, and highly productive work environment.
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance, coordinating with the maintenance department to minimize downtime and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality control guidelines.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on the production floor.
• Prepare and analyze regular production reports, inventory usage, and waste management metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the warehouse, procurement, and quality assurance departments to ensure seamless workflow and material availability.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Animal Husbandry, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the food, beverage, or feed mill industries.
• Strong knowledge of feed/food manufacturing processes, machinery operations, GMP, HACCP, and safety regulations (K3).
• Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with production management systems/ERP (e.g., SAP).
• Willingness to work in shifts and be placed at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's operational sites.
