Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting production schedules and technical documentation.
• Experience with production management systems and scheduling software is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia in Sidoarjo, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing daily production operations and ensuring efficient, safe and quality output. As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, maintaining operational standards, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing and logistics facilities. This role is essential to the success of our operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver excellence to our clients.

Role and Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring targets are met whilst maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Monitor production schedules and work with the planning team to optimise workflow and resource allocation

Lead, motivate and develop production team members, providing training and support to enhance performance and competency

Conduct regular inspections of production lines and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies

Track production metrics and KPIs, reporting progress and identifying areas for improvement

Communicate with other departments to manage inventory, resolve production issues and support delivery schedules

Document production records and maintain accurate logs of production activities and incidents

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements

Requirements :

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory or similar leadership role within manufacturing or logistics

Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and optimisation practices
