Job summary

SMOORE Indonesia is seeking an experienced production management professional to oversee daily and weekly manufacturing operations, supervise production teams, and ensure quality and safety standards across our East Java facilities. You will drive planning, scheduling and cost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 5 years of production management experience; pharmaceutical/food/FMCG preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, ability to manage large teams and resolve conflicts.
• Proficient in production processes, quality management systems and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination; able to work under pressure and adapt to priorities.
• Fluent in English; Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily/weekly production plans based on sales orders and inventory levels; ensure production tasks are completed on time while maintaining quality standards
• Supervise, train and evaluate production staff; create a positive work atmosphere, handle personnel issues, and ensure adequate staffing for each shift
• Strictly adhere to quality assurance protocols; conduct regular inspections, immediately address non-conforming products, and promote continuous improvement plans to reduce defect rates
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations; conduct safety training, perform regular equipment inspections, and maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents
• Monitor production costs, minimize waste and downtime, optimize resource utilization, and implement lean production principles to improve overall operational efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or above Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field

5 years of production management experience, with a background in Pharmaceutical/Pharmacy, Food, FMCG, Tobacco Manufacturing is preferred

Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing large teams, resolving conflicts, and motivating employees to achieve goals

Proficient in production processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Office software; strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work under pressure and adapt to changes in priorities

Fluent in English as a working language, and proficient in Chinese is preferred
