Job summary

PT. S2DIO INDUSTRIES in Semarang, Central Java, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design welding jigs, fixtures, and production-ready components, collaborating closely with manufacturing teams.

You will apply 3D CAD tools, material selection, and CNC process basics while delivering robust, efficient solutions that reduce lead times and maintain quality. Willingness to relocate to Semarang is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Basic knowledge of CNC nesting software or similar (e.g., Solid Edge, TubesT).
• Basic knowledge of ERP system, preferably Odoo.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be placed in Semarang, Central Java.

Responsibilities

• Designing products and the required tools for manufacturing.
• Integrating technical requirements and specifications into the design process.
• Selecting appropriate materials based on technical specifications and project requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments of developed tools and fixtures.
• Designing and developing welding and inspecting jigs in close collaboration with the production team.
• Ensure that designs are practical, efficient, and ready for implementation.
• Establish clear and effective working methods that minimize production lead times while maintaining the highest quality standards.
