Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Manager 1, Production Management to lead production activities on an assigned floor and a new production line. You will ensure targets, quality, safety, cost and delivery commitments while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will coordinate cross-functionally, manage the workforce, and optimize processes to support growth and customer satisfaction. Strong English communication is required as reporting to SLT is mentioned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a production environment, including managerial experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or Science (Mathematics, Chemistry, etc.).
• Strong understanding of investigation tools and problem-solving methodologies including root cause analysis.
• Experience in planning, execution, and performance evaluation.
• Proven experience in managing, coaching, and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all production activities for an assigned production floor and new production line.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, cost objectives, and delivery commitments are achieved while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
