Job summary

Midea Group invites a Production Intern to assist the Production Group Leader in daily production activities and manpower allocation within a busy manufacturing environment. You will support monitoring of processes, QA coordination, and the implementation of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen initiatives.

This internship requires final-year students or recent graduates in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, with strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate from university.
• Preferred majors include Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and production operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced factory environment and in a team.
• Willing to commit to internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Group Leader in daily production activities and manpower allocation.
• Monitor production processes to achieve targets per plan.
• Support supervision of production operators and ensure SOP compliance.
• Monitor product quality and coordinate with QA when issues arise.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production problems on the line.
• Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor production performance, attendance, safety, and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments.
