Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia seeks a Production Engineer to optimize production scheduling, capacity, quality, and safety while driving cost reductions and downtime improvements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience.

You will manage production processes, analyze performance, perform root-cause analysis, develop and maintain SOPs, monitor KPIs such as output, scrap and downtime, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S/6S, OEE, and quality tools.
• Proficient in MS Excel familiarity with ERP/MES is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of ISO and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve production processes to achieve production targets, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze production performance, cycle time, capacity, and line balance.
• Identify production issues and conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.
• Support process improvement, new product/process introduction, and validation activities.
• Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, scrap, and downtime.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and technical issues.
• Ensure production processes comply with quality, safety, and company standards.
