Job summary

PT Yangtze Optics Indonesia is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize master and daily production schedules, manage manpower, and ensure safe, high-quality manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on process improvement, capacity optimization, quality control, and technical support to achieve production targets while reducing cost, waste, and downtime. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Maximum 30 years old.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/MES is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of ISO and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve production processes to achieve production targets, quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze production performance, cycle time, capacity, and line balance.
• Identify production issues and conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.
• Support process improvement, new product/process introduction, and validation activities.
• Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, scrap, and downtime.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and technical issues.
• Ensure production processes comply with quality, safety, and company standards.
